Weekend poem

Weekends are the holidays of the week they are the time for the children to play and parents to chill they are the time to listen to music and play games we are all great full to have weekends, to get away from school because all of that learning hurts our brains and makes us tired. Weekends are like Christmas in the middle of the year. I cant wait for the weekend!

The day had finally arrived after a much anticipated wait....

I woke up to a frosty layer of snow coating the ground like a blanket except doing the opposite of its job because it was freezing my spine tingling because of the temperature, the cold air leaking through the slight opening in the window that i had left open the day before.

When I got out of my room which was a struggle, I lit the fire which warmed the house up slightly.After that i saw that the fire was chewing through wood like nobody's business so i put more wood in it.

Half a day had gone and we had already used half a potato bin full of wood, even though it was like a miniature ice age outside now we were warm and cozy inside the house from then on we didn't even realise it was snowing.
